These regulators feature internal current limiting and thermal shutdown making them remarkably rugged. No external components are required in most applications. These devices offer a substantial performance advantage over the traditional Zener diode-resistor combination as output impedance and quiescent current are substantially reduced.This series is offered in a 3-pin TO-92 SOT-89 and an 8-pin SOP-8 package.Order Codes N89BZ N90BZ and N91BZ have a quiescent current of 4mA and an input voltage of 40V. All other Order Codes have a quiescent current of 3mA and an input voltage of 35V. All Order Codes have a voltage drop of 1.7V and a peak output current of 0.15A.
